Springfest

Springfest 2010 Coverage

We could not believe the massive turnout we had at this year’s Springfest car show, we were really amazed at the number of cars and people that turned out. After early reports and forecasts calling for rain throughout the day it turned out to be a gorgeous (and hot) day and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We want to give a huge thank you to everyone in the Sumospeed family for their help in planning and running the event. Everyone did an outstanding job and the event wouldn’t have been what it was without you. We need to also give a huge thank you to our title sponsors in Rameybuilt and Little Joe’s Auto for forking over large sums of money toward making this the outstanding event that it was. Many thanks also go out to the vendors that set up at the show including Fortune Auto, Jspec Auto, Coast 2 Coast Auto, Wheel and Rim Repair, Source Hydrographics, Dress up Bolts, Custom Graphics, SAGE Auto, Dyno on the go, and Virginia Speed as well as the vendors that ended up not physically making it out but helped in supporting and promoting the event in Built not Bought Automotive, American Indoor Karting, Beach City Customs, and Longshots Darts and Billiards.

Springfest would not have been what it was without Hometown heroes serving food and beverages all day and DJ AETGY spinning on the ones and twos, huge thanks to both parties on making great contributions to the greatness of the event. Thank yous would not be complete without mentioning ISO and NELOC for helping to promote Springfest in areas of the east coast we would not normally be able to reach and for helping to setup parking and with judging of the show, thank you guys. Last but definitely not least, I want to thank EVERYONE that came out and supported the event, whether you entered the show, spectated, dynoed, took pictures, anything. This event would not have been what it was without you. We look forward to seeing you all next year! Now that we got through all the mushy stuff, onto the winners of the classes.
